Your first step into adventure

Off the beaten track, your freedom in the mountains begins at the Hotel Explorer (Oberschönau) in front of our meeting point. Instruction is obligatory, but right after that, the freestyle riding begins.

Head up the dirt road, straight through the meadow, up towards Sulzbergkopf and immediately back down to the Königssee-Trail.  Ride along the Königsseer Ache – which sometimes splashes, sometimes roars – through cool forest passages to the Königssee.

Let your gaze glide over the emerald green expanse of water, climb the steep and majestic rock faces with your eyes and steal a small piece of the white-blue sky for which Bavaria and its nature are world-famous.

Afterward, cruise along the bottom of mount Grünstein back to the starting point.

Experience the paths along the artificial ice toboggan run and jump into off-road fun on a trail that demands your courage and driving skills.

To make sure that things don’t upset your stomach, we take a short break on the lakeshore – at the Seealmwirt  – nature is free, but you have to pay for your own snack, or bring your own snack with you. Then, we’ll have a picnic and a few souvenir photos – and the Watzmann will give you some spooky stories.
